The Women’s Ministry is for every woman that walks in the doors of First Baptist Church. Daughters, mothers, sisters, wives, widows, friends – all joining together to worship our Lord and Savior!

We are here to serve, encourage and proclaim the Gospel to all women.

Join us as we grow and learn through Bible study, special events and service opportunities. Through these Christ-centered activities; we build lasting relationships with other amazing women that love the Lord. We are here for you and look forward to meeting you.

The monthly mission project lunch meetings are held September – May.

Fall Mission Project

The Ladies of Light will collect filled backpacks for the Appalachian Christmas Outreach as their fall mission project. A flyer with detailed packing instructions is below and on the entrance tables. We know our lovely ladies are very generous but please only include exactly what is on the list. We have been asked to not include any additional items so that all children feel special. Our Ladies of Light missions sewing group has made hats and scarves for each backpack! You will not need to supply those items. Please make sure you label if your bag is for a boy or girl and their age. If you donate money for this project, please make a check to FBCNMB and note “Appalachian” on the memo line.
